The glass beaded necklaces are made in Ghana by Jewellery designer Trish. She went to Ghana in 1997 to work as a volunteer in international development.She realised she could be much more effective creating markets for locally produced recycled glass and brass beads. She now works directly with local bead makers to produce stunning pieces of jewellery which helps create sustainable incomes for the bead makers.
